Music: Jeon Hyosung - Good Night Kiss
I've always been rather fond of Hyosung. I remember watching 백점만점 (100 Out Of 100) and quite liking her carefree, smiley and bright demeanour that was rather different from others, at least till the show turned for the worse with all the athletic challenges which I couldn't help but just roll my eyes at. Sidetracking aside, a quick review of the album - I didn't like 2 out of the 3 songs of Top Secret.
I think it's just that I've never really been one to enjoy too much dance pop - only in moderation and if I somehow found a lyric that hooked me. So that's probably that - I only enjoyed Good Night Kiss. I liked the repetitive refrain, I liked the way her voice sang it in a raspy yet sultry manner, I liked most the dance. Perhaps the concept was a little too over the top. I mean there was no obvious reasons to take so many double takes of her chest, and that part of the dance was almost as bad as Bubble Pop. But I personally enjoyed the music apart from the visuals and that was what I look out for ultimately.
Albeit I'm not going to go all out and say it's my favourite song, I will say that I enjoyed it and that it's a pretty alright solo debut for the style she's going for.
