Beauty: Muji Light Toning Water Review

I figured my first post would be a product that I do enjoy quite a bit. I picked up the Muji Light Toning Water in High Moisture just about a month or two back. Despite not being one to buy products too much on a whim or without prior research, I was quite drawn to the bauhaus design of the entire Muji line and grabbed the largest bottle on display. I figured nothing can go wrong; it's dubbed to be made with natural ingredients and suitable for sensitive skin!

It was relatively cheap as well, a 400ml bottle costing about $20.

It's a decent toner/lotion that I feel really makes my skin hydrated, and I find it too be just a little too hydrating for my oily skin (which was stupid of me, since it did come in various degrees of moisture). One way I like using it is with mask sheet capsules, the ones that expands into a full mask sheet when you pour over a serum/lotion of choice. Just 15 minutes, and my skin feels extra refreshed!

Another way I like to use it is with my Vitamin C powder.

I just mix a decent amount of this powder into a separate solution of the toning water, and I got myself a DIY Vitamin C Serum! The glyerin in the toning water moisturises my skin while the Vitamin C powder brightens and heals existing scars - a dream match.

I've been using this particular mix of Vitamin C serum on and off for a few months and I really like the effects. I feel that my acne scars have definitely faded and my overall skin complexion improved! It did feel softer and hydrated, and my skin does seem to be producing less oil ever since I've bombarded it with moisture.
